Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
“Cowabunga!”
This NES action platformer is one of the first games on NES what our family got to the console. I struggled with it by then and struggled with it by now, so nothing changed in that aspect. Although I think nowadays the difficulty level doesn’t ruin game entirely, it is certainly plausible to beat if you give little bit time and effort to it.
Your game starts in overworld perspective, where you travel different parts of map and sewers doing various kind of missions. When you go to sewers, game changes to action platformer. In sewers you must fight through many kinds of enemies, catching up some pizza (health) and some other useful items like rockets which you can use to blast through barricades.
Platforming in this game is pretty decent and level design is actually quite good. There’s many different kinds of objects while travelling through sewers, so it doesn’t get too tedious. There’s also miniboss fights and some bigger boss fights on the way too.
