Sanitarium
Sanitarium is psychological horror point'n'click adventure game, which was made by Dreamforge Intertainment in 1998.
As usual, point'n'click based games are commonly known about their great storylines and this game is no difference in that aspect. It is actually quite fascinating how story progress and you go deep in to your own mind.
I dont wanna spoil too much of the story, so i will only talk about background where you gonna start your story. Your main character got in a car accident and he went unconscious. He wakes up from a coma and try's to figure out his identity. You don't remember anything from your life, so as the story progress, you'll eventually find out more about yourself and what was happened before.
The gameplay uses birds-eye view perspective and it works really well. Backgrounds in this game is really nicely detailed, but can sometimes hide "hotspots" and can be hard to see. Puzzles in this game can sometimes cause headaches, but still most of the time they are not so cryptic, so eventually you'll progress and get more information about your past.
I really liked every aspects in this game. Story, atmosphere and visuals was greatly done and it is definitely one of the best games i played in this genre.
