Dungeon Keeper
This game takes little bit different approach in
strategy games genre. Yes, your main objective
is to build your own base and destroy the enemy,
but gameplay tend to be more restricted in
some cases.
You can't control group of creatures in this. It
is possible to grab them "on your hand" and
throw to the battlefield, but then the soldiers
do their own decisions about attacking and such
things. You can buff them with spells or just
slap them to make them more efficient.
There's also workshop to make many kinds of traps and doors in the game. Which can be very useful in some cases.
There's only one resource in this game and its Gold. Gold is needed to build structures and pay to your creatures their wages. You can't buy creatures in this game, they are transferred through portals which you have to claim first before you
can have more creatures in the game.
